stan3600
You need to see him getting around the pitch like a wee terrier for a full 90 minutes every week. Fingers crossed, but he doesn’t look to have fitness issues. Obviously part time training is suiting him.
1320Lichtie
Nicky Low never ever stops, he’s everywhere, quite quick and sharp too If you mean his fitness levels in relation to injuries then aye but fitness levels in a game are spot on

Farflung
A joyous few weekends to witness these powerful displays and higher scoring wins. Whether it's sustainable over a long season is doubtful but just getting points on the board now can do no harm when the going gets tougher. Plus of course, the extra pleasure of getting back to decent (not just attritional) live football in fine conditions make it all the sweeter. It's interesting that opposition managers (eg Accies among others) point to our experienced squad and the fact they've played together for some time but the Campbells have again added to this platform by some fabulous signings. So...if we can hold onto Nouble and Low stays free of injury.... are key considerations . Dick Campbell's post-match interview is very grounded - restating the ambition is to finish 8th, the importance of fortress Gayfield while also tipping Accies to be in contention towards the end of the season. Enjoying this greatly while it lasts. As somebody who did appreciate the decent squads of the late 1960s and 1970s, which were rather effective, this last decade when we've won leagues (finally) with runs of unprecedented high scoring games home and away probably tops it (with even the Todd Lumsden year finishing second bottom of the heap merely providing a necessary reminder to appreciate what came before and after all the better). 1320Lichtie
Is Nouble in this form the best player we’ve had in last 20 odd year anyway. Bobby is the only one that comes close but again him and Swankie etc all excelled at a lower level so hard to judge it. Imagine Nouble in League 2 would absolutely rip the pish out it. There was a point yesterday where he had 4/5 boys on him about 40 yards out all by himself and he literally ragdolled and skinned every single one of them and won a corner at the byline. Keep saying it but it’s like watching a man playing against children. Even more noticeable yesterday seeing as a few of the Hamilton lads looked like they were right out of the school. Gayfield
Meet the Fans with Ian Campbell - Tuesday 14th September, 7pm We are very pleased to announce that Assistant Manager Ian Campbell has asked for another “Meet the Fans” Evening. This evening will take place tomorrow night in the Caird Hospitality Suite at Gayfield Park on Tuesday 14th September, with a 7pm start. Ian will address fans on the teams progress so far before opening up to the floor for any questions. We have now run several of these evenings which have proved to be extremely popular. Not only does Ian know many of our supporters on a first name basis but he gives a candid insight into the thoughts of the Management Team and so much more. This is a great opportunity for fans to continue to communicate and learn about behind the scenes at Gayfield and to see the newly renovated Hospitality Lounge. Please do arrive on time as this means that there is less chance of duplicate questions being asked. We hope you can make it along! Gayfield
Michael McKenna - cinch SPFL Scottish Championship Player of the Month for August Everyone at Arbroath FC would like to congratulate our very own Michael McKenna who has deservedly been named the inch Scottish Championship Player of the Month for August. With 5 goals in the opening 5 games, Michael has continued that rich form adding to his tally with his 6th goal on Saturday. Michael signed for Arbroath from Berwick Rangers in January 2018 and quickly became a fan's favourite with his intense work rate and his determination to win and quickly integrating himself into our team. Lifting the Scottish League One Title soon followed and Michael has developed into a top Championship player. This season playing in almost a number 10 position, it has seen Michael flourish and we hope there are many more goals and team performances to come! Congratulations Mikey! However there’s a bit of “lies, damn lies and statistics” here. Luke has 3 cup goals against East Fife, Elgin and Kelty Hearts - nothing in the Championship. Last season he had 1 cup goal and no league goals. The season before he had 5 league goals. Not much of a return for a striker. And yes, he is a striker for us. You might want to consider he was injured for most of last season, if you really want to be down and dirty with the finer details. Luke can only score in games that he plays in, he played in the cup and scored goals, if you remember correctly he was moved out of position for the Inverness game, which was the last game be started before the Aberdeen game. A striker can only score when played, not when given 10 mins of the bench. And yes we know he gets played as a striker. Got to love fans like you.
1320Lichtie
Think it’s a bit shite how Dowds getting more game time than LD last 3 games think LD deserves more of a chance. That ICT game kind of didn’t do him any favours asked to play a completely different role. Anyway well done McKenna. Nouble and him are some duo. His finish on Saturday was class.
lichtie23
I’m an LD fan and think he brings something different to our side. From what Iv seen of Dowds (very limited playing time) Iv not been overly impressed but he could come good and be exactly what we need later in the season.
1320Lichtie
Still buzzing off that and looking forward to Saturday already Thinking too. Nouble and Low getting all the plaudits as new signings but big Henderson been magic everywhere he’s played. Real solid presence in there. Low, Little and Gold aside we are a big physical team and you saw that on Saturday it stuck out a million miles up against Hamilton. It’s ashame but can’t see a way back in for Clark just now I really think he should go down to L1 in January I think it would be good for him he’s just not up to this level yet and it is completely understandable. Signings like Henderson has been a big part of our success. Hopefully he’s here for a long time and can join the core of players we’ve had for a long time.

1320Lichtie
Really no sure what’s going on here. LD been very good this season when he’s played seems strange to be picking faults with him when he’s not featured much recently.
stan3600
Storm in a teacup. Nothing to see here, move on. Bobby hasn’t been on the park for a couple of weeks. Is he injured?
