Fair enough he had a good season before that, but just looked really poor after that. He's a target man type with Sheridan out that's clearly what McPake is wanting in.

Surely everyone knows now playing 5 across the middle we need that. Only disappointment is once again it’s the guy who was unknown up here, did well, then got a move south and failed. How shite is our scouting network?

With that we can look pretty good and I'd be alright with this over the next few games (with McGhee back in defence). Byrne was good before his injury but not sure how he fits in now. 4-1-4-1? Still thinking LB is the highest priority but someone to get on end of crosses would be nice

Crawford
The players struggling for game time at other clubs are turning down GUARANTEED play time and a chance to be seen. Jesus wept we've fallen a bit.

Derry Alli
Wouldn't want either of them near Dens. Less 'bog tall huddy' : more 'average height with above average technique', please. Thank you.
Bigmouth Strikes Again
This doesn't look good at all. IMO. A centre half or full back should have been first through the door, get them training/fitting in. etc.
Dee Bliss
More important it’s the right quality at this stage. Will be getting more and more desperate as the window goes on for a left back and centrehalf tho! I’m going for thon signing emoji going up on the club’s Twitter account around 4pm tomorrow

And with regard to game time guys are probably looking at Cumdog and going, sure sure Jazzer. Effie will be using his bus pass to get along from Perth in about 10 days time. So far, zero out of 10.

Ludo*1
The January window is all about short termism and people are complaining. It's notoriously hard to get quality in. If we get a CH to tide us over for 6 month and he helps keep us up then that's brilliant. If people are thinking we are gonna get a CH that's gonna be a rock at the heart of our defence for years on this window then they're setting themselves up for major disappointment. McGregor would have fit the required mould and easily been better than what we have ala Berra a few seasons back. Cosgrove was that impressive for Aberdeen he went for £2.5m not that long ago. I'm non plussed about both. Both would've been big upgrades on what we currently have unlike the likes of Paul Watson.
RossBFaeDundee
Tbf, the source for the McGregor news was on January 7th. Which is also before they signed another CB in Rocky Bushiri.

We’d have probably given McGregor a 3 year contract though.
