I feel Wighton should be given a run in the team if Stewart goes - looks to me that he's now ready to step up. Yesterday the club laughed off suggestions that Hemmings could leave on the cheap. Manager Paul Hartley wants to build an empire at Dens and sees Hemmings and Stewart a real part of that. Contract talks with Stewart and McGinn are still on-going the club are cautiously optimistic that Stewart will extend his deal at the club, however they are suggestions McGinn might move on in the Summer. Former Dundee 'Keeper Derek Soutar last night insisted he knew all along Dundee United were heading for crisis – and claims it will be karma to see them relegated at Dens Park on Monday.
