Booming I tell you.

Well on the bright side he could have written "restless natives" rather than "neurotic far-left dinosaurs". For over 15 years now going as far back as the first Holyrood election in 1999 when the SNP was at around 40% in the polls initially, a large chunk of the Scottish electorate has been showing indications of wanting to turn its back on Labour, because of the way Blair shifted what used to be the people's party to the centre-right so that they no longer truly represented their traditional core support base:

In bits watching this. :lol:

TBH I didn't think it was funny at all, but Hope's always been a useless old racist chunt. Most of the clever people they had who could come up with good funny stuff are long dead, what's left are crap pub acts & crap pub owners looking for publicity.

It's a bit much him talking about UKIP stealing their voters when the same person bankrolling Niggle & co is bankrolling him standing against Boris, also this:-

Old Sutchy would never have agreed to that sort of diet NF rubbish.

To be fair, they do have one candidate this time out who may save their deposit. Historian Ann Kelly is standing for them in Mid Bedfordshire, largely it seems at the behest of the locals wanting to draw attention to the County and Unitary council doing zero for the area. She's been Flitwick's mayor twice, an elected independent councillor for eight years, and qualified to appear on Mastermind on no less than four occasions.

It's an ultra safe seat (Tory with nearest challenger the free falling Lib Dems), so people will be more inclined to indulge in a protest vote, & for those who can't stand UKIP or the Greens the OMRLP are well poised, especially with someone well known locally.

Have to say I'm very impressed with the BBC doing this, giving all 22 of the minor parties who will not qualify for a party political broadcast (or who like Arthur Scargill's Socialist Labour Party have bought one) this time slot. There's ones like the Socialist Party of Great Britain who have toiled for years, saw their policies pinched by bigger parties come election times only to have them reneged upon once in power. If they perhaps manage to get one or two more people who otherwise wouldn't vote to drag their fat arses down to the polling station, all to the good.

I'm delighted to hear that Hosie is deputy and after the warm glow of enthusiastic SNP clinging of the 2015 elections, what job should Nicola do? I suspect reverting to "practicing" law in the Drum will be her "choice" but I recommend her to head up some Scottish history society near Culloden and invite the stars of the failed referendum to a wee drink up every year. I should feel sympathy but this morning I can't contain my delight at

Hosie and Nicola :lol::thumsup2

It's nice to post some of these things. Here's an opening post from a thread started by someone who seems to have gone missing.

I'm away to be putting out leaflets in the 'marginal' of Dundee West.

Talking of leafleting in Dundee West, I've received 2 leaflets from the Tories here and not a single one from any other party.

I wouldn't worry. Tory propaganda only appeals to witless, selfish, anti-social arseholes. A bit of an endangered species in Dundee.
