There definitely seems to be some posters here that think/are suggesting that all/most people with these conditions shouldn't have been diagnosed. Frankly thats ridiculous ,you realise that its not just a case of turn up, get diagnosed and hello to a world with a ready made excuse and free stuff? Well aware of that, and I do think it's a good thing that these conditions are recognised and allowances made for them.In my day folk were just labelled as "thick". However, there is a growing trend of testing kids who have expressed no difficulty. If you extend the parameters I imagine you could prove everyone was dyslexic/dyscalculic/OCD etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
