Dunning1874
I don't really see any real reason to fear Ireland here. This is the sort of side Scotland should be beating at home. Spot on. Obviously they can be a threat and have reasons to be confident themselves, but we shouldn't fear them: this is an entirely winnable game and if we're seeing ourselves as good enough to qualify, we have to be good enough to win games like this.
Slacker
Absolutely, however same could've been said ahead of Norway, Czech Republic, Serbia, Wales, Macedonia etc. I'm more confident under Strachan but we're in for a tough match tomorrow night, and I for one am shitting it. But we should be looking to win.

Obviously the nerves will still be there as Ireland aren't exactly pushovers, but if Scotland even drop points in this one, I'll be sorely disappointed, and for the first time, nervous about qualification.
Quentin Taranbino
4-1 to Scotland. Will be an easy game
The Ginger Prince
Scotland will win this match I have no doubt in hay the team is playing well under the wee man and the players are mostly in form and giving 100% for the country, can anyone name me what players they think will make up the Rep team? Forde Coleman O'Shea Wilson Ward McGeady McCarthy Gibson McClean Hoolahan Keane. Probably a mile off though.
Cameron1875
Coleman and Mcgeady v Anya and Robertson could be interesting. Think there will be a late goal in this one! Wee 90th min from Fletch would be scenes. Edited November 13, 2014 by Cameron1875
Gordopolis
4-1 to Scotland. Will be an easy game Germany only managed a 1-1 against them. Why should we be so confident of racking up a score like 4-1 against them? When did we last score 4 in a match (8 years ago vs Faroes?). What was the score the last time we played ROI (1-0 to them)? We should be capable of taking a win from this, but it ain't going to be easy.

monthefife
McCarthy apparently definitely not in the squad for tomorrow and is on his way back to Everton to receive treatment. Good news for us.
itzdrk
International football doesn't excite me until the day of the game but this one has grabbed a small bit of attention. looking at 3-1 Scotland with the Southern irish scoring first IMO

Dunning1874
I think he will start Mulgrew at left back. Christ, I hadn't considered that. It's a distinct possibility but I really hope not. He may be inexperienced and eager to attack, but Robertson is easily the strongest defensively of all our options at left back.

Honest_Man#1
Really looking forward to this game now. That Irish defence looks really poor on paper, can't see us not scoring. -
