ICTChris Posted December 3, 2014 Share Posted December 3, 2014 Celtic have a bigger support so therefore more fucknuggets who will misbehave at matches and even worse the herd mentality spreads like a virus through the ranks and some fuds get sucked into behaving like animals even though it's only a sport and do things they normally wouldn't do. ARSEHOLES the lot of them and can fcuk off to the zoo where they belong. The bigger support = more dicks is true but there's also an element of the Celtic support that revel in the opportunity for anti-social behaviour that comes from being part of such a big group. At away grounds like Inverness the police just focus on getting Celtic fans in and out with the minimum of trouble / fuss, letting infractions that would see others arrested slide. It's not fair to tar all Celtic supporters with the same brush, I've been for pints after games at Parkhead with Celtic fans and there's no problem, most Celtic fans are perfectly fine. However, there's a defensiveness and a reversion to this 'oppressed' rubbish that seems to be the default for the club and a lot of fans when these things happen. Celtic aren't oppressed, they are a huge multi-million pound enterprise who are one of the most successful clubs in world football, are owned and run by a billionaire and have huge sway over the game in this country. The official stance from HMFC is that this behaviour is unacceptable and any perpetrators found will be justifiably banned for life. A precedent has been set with the one supporter mentioned in Budge's statement. I am in full support of this, and am happy that this is being made clear.
