Neutrality is a dead concept in British politics, it's just people screaming at each other. As an SDP candidate Polly managed to split the left wing vote and let the Tories take Lewisham from Clement Atlee's former PPS Roland Moyle. Having said that, he's good at his telts, so it could be entertaining nonetheless, especially if a relevant topic comes up.
