We would probably have offered him a one year deal on much lower wages. McManus is probably one of those players (like Tidser and Peaso) that we would've given a longer contract. Very much a confidence player though. If Morton are struggling and the fans get on his back this could be a disaster, not one for criticism is Bobby!
