Frank Quitely
Heavy rain and 30mph winds forecast from 10am Friday throughout the weekend. 3.9 metre high tide at 15:20 Saturday. Do bookies take bets on game off (waterlogged pitch)? The wind will pose more of a threat Wilf, most of the (few) postponements due to waterlogging have been as a result of intense pre-match downpours. I think both clubs will be keen to get this one on, and perhaps ourselves especially, since a weather-affected afternoon probably represents a chance for us to take something from the game. Saturated but playable pitch and swirling winds please
Tony Wonder
If the pitch is heavy I wouldn't be surprised to see us put Paterson up top at some point and go more direct like we did at Cowdenbeath.
The Moonster
Our pitch is usually okay with the rain, I don't see it being anything like Cowdenbeath's bog. As Frank has said, the wind is more likely to be the factor which ruins this game. If it's going to be horrendous winds I'm not sure I want to go. It always makes for a terrible match. Retract please.

But come on you, one of your examples is 2009, those call offs in December 2012 were due to frost too, fair enough the Raith one was rain but that was woeful weather that night. Generally our pitch drains quite well. I'm defending this too much, it's definitely being called off for rain now .
Howlin' Wilf
I remember that 2009 one. We were in hospitality enjoying lunch when they told us game off. It hadn't looked in danger. They hadn't checked the tide tables.
johnny graham
The high winds and heavy Rain forecast will.suit the kick and run tactics of hearts. Our close passing skillfull type of play could be a problem. Our classy players might be blown away whilst the hearts cloggers could have the advantage. Never mind as they.say. where there is a nish there is a way.
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Will Hearts have their new loan signing from Gronigen available for this?
