DensParkNumber1
Its barely snowing now, surely they can pause the game for 15 mins and clear most of the snow?
thisGRAEME
Someone get Mattydfc out there, he'd have this sorted no bother.
Mark Connolly
Great advert for Scottish football. As an aside, is Bobby Madden the official ref of BT Sport? He did our game on Monday too.
Jacksgranda
What does being ruffled entail young sir? NSFW forum for this sort of chat.
ferryjambo
How long do they have to play before giving a refund if it is abandoned? That would be my suspicion that the **** can't afford for this to be off.
WhiteRoseKillie
If you melt the snow then the pitch would become waterlogged. Undersoil heating is a preventative measure to stop the pitch from freezing, you can't really use it against snow. If they had it turned on on time, the snow wouldn't lie. I'm not sure why you're defending this latest Ibrox cockup, but show me pictures of a game there in similar conditions and I will concede you've got a point. BT have just told us they had to go scrabbling through Bell's kit bag to find a ball. What a fucking shambles.
Fotbawmad
I played on worse as a kid. I remember playing in goals when the pitch was frozen. Still have nightmares about having to dive on it, and the sting when people were punting balls at me
ForzaDundee
Hopefully it gets called off with the extra expense of putting on the replay.
WILLIEA
How long do they have to play before giving a refund if it is abandoned? I think ( although not sure ) that if 2nd half has started no refunds are given! Every penny counts

banana
Its barely snowing now, surely they can pause the game for 15 mins and clear most of the snow? Surely they could've cleared it before kick off?
ferryjambo
This is clearly being run out until the point no refund. If it's going to be off surely it makes sense to get people off home early rather than travelling later when it starts again.
AyrshireTon
Can hardly see the ball. Why weren't the groundsmen out brushing the snow off-field? Can't afford to pay them the overtime?
ForzaDundee
Can anyone see the ball. I'm watching on a shitey stream but not spotted it once.
Macshimmy
Ah, here ya go - details of the contract with SportScotland during the Commonwealths: Work to extend the pitch, carried out by Glasgow 2014 in collaboration with Rangers Football Club and local contractors, involved raising the surface of areas at both ends of the park by 600mm by covering the existing track with membrane and new boards and then infilling with sand. The new turf was laid on top.The rugby posts were then put in place, completing the transformation ahead of the stadium hosting the Rugby Sevens competition on Saturday July 26, and Sunday July 27. Before the posts could go up, the existing undersoil heating had to be cut and re-routed and the pitch dug up to accommodate the 2 cubic meters of concrete for each post. Why am I thinking there is a wee chance the club tried to do the re-fit on the cheap?
