Paul Hartley

Jocky Scott - Becomes caretaker manager in 2018 after Hartley moves on to Crystal Palace after they have just punted Alan Pardew despite the fact he got them a top 10 finish. This would mean Jocky's been at Dundee FC in the years 1968, 1978, 1988, 1998, 2008 and now 2018. Every year ending in 8, Jocky is at Dundee FC. I don't see how 2018 will be any different.

James McPake - Rumoured to already being groomed as Hartley's successor at Dens, we shaft Jocky once again and throw him into the cold after he seals us a top 6 spot on the last day of the season. McPake is then sacked midway through the next season as he has us stranded at the bottom of the league.

Barry Smith - Fresh from being sacked from Notts County down South and having small stints at Dunfermline and Raith, Barry Smith completes the cycle in becoming the New Wave Jocky Scott, saving us from relegation, securing us another top 6 spot before being kicked in the teeth, Jocky Style as we think we can do better.

Neil McCann - Fed up of getting passed over for the manager's job at Dunfermline after John Potter has led them to the bottom of League 2, the Dundee Legend becomes Dundee manager and instantly sets about in making us the most exciting team in Scotland. The board thinking they have cottoned on to a good thing in McCann, steal all his ideas and then sack him before giving the job to the man who's destiny is to manage Dundee:

Morten Wieghorst.
