cfcuk
And they still argue that they are not subsidised by the SFA ha ha How much of Scottish football money has been wasted on a crap national stadium and proping up the charade of amateur status of Queens Park
SimonLichtie
^^^ Jealous QP have their own stadium which they lease out for a fee while Clyde have to use a stadium they don't own and pay rent on. Are NLC subsidised by Clyde!?

Are NLC subsidised by Clyde!? just pointing out that they are subsidised by SFA (rest of scottish football) ok then why doesnt SFA /SPFL move the scotland games semi finals around the country instead of benefiting one club ? my point is they rattle on about how great their youth system is and to be fair it is good, but it should be considering the amount of money that is provided to them by scottish football

Because there's nowhere else neutral that could do that and keep everybody happy.... There's 35k SSC members. They all have to be GUARANTEED a ticket so you need stadia that can cater for that. So that only leaves CP/Ibrox/Murrayfield. The gruesome twosome would kick off every time the SFA chose to use the other halfs stadium when Hampden was available to use and they obviously don't want to use Murrayfield as the money would be going to the Rugby. Hampden makes sense just now. It's really the home of Scottish Football. QP are lucky to OWN it.

1320Lichtie
so we agree they are being subsidised ? cheers No. They own the stadium. The SFA could play elsewhere but Hampden suits them. QP own Hampden therefore the SFA must pay to use it or f**k off elsewhere. Simples
