thomas 62
What about the Sevco effect? Love them or hate them surely most lower league teams have made money off them especially in the first couple of seasons when they were filling most away grounds. total agree best thing for all 3 leagues for years, and in many cases a lifesaver helped to stabalis us, plus good hard workers running our clubs. One other thing not accepted by some posters. There is some cracking partime players in our league at the moment. Who easy could play highter And games in this run in all becoming cup ties. At both ends of league. But still say 4,ooo per home after costs it tight for full time. Unless a sugar daddy in the background

thehog
Absolutely zero evidence to support your facts, in either of the last two posts. No analysis as to why 4000 fans are needed to sustain full-time football, suggesting another back of a fagpacket assumption. Let's be clear: if you were representing a football club in any 'official' capacity then it could only be that of the kitman, or perhaps an aged club ball-boy kept around the place in order to save face. Because you're a fucking imbecile. And what fact do you base this on:rolleyes:
theoriginalhedge
Was at a league meeting a few year ago, all but one team was losing money weekly, I reckon that 4,000 gate at home games might just warrant partial full time ,anything less is a no go guys, sad facts but that is the state of play in scottish football I wonder if that was the same meeting where Cockwomble and co announced that there would be financial Armageddon if Sevco weren't admitted straight into the second tier ? theoriginalhedge
Or maybe it was the meeting that Barry Hearn told the SFA / SPFL that they couldn't run a bath !!
strichener
There are nine million bicycles in Beijing. That's a fact. Well as much of a fact as the OP!
DA Baracus
It's clear that the club the OP represented at the meeting, which absolutely was not a spelling bee in which he faired poorly, was in no way his school team.

There will be slight benefits in the championship but their away supports isn't that much different to some other clubs already there tbh. There home gates are maybe higher but other clubs don't get a share of that.

Sergeant Wilson
hope you dont swear like that in your school class, you kids now days no manners. Once you learn to count at school, it will be easy to work out gate money every two weeks ,sponsorship an other fundraising which every club needs to do. Minus wages and big over heads need Mr Rae bank book to keep moving forward, of course cup games can help out , but you know what happened there. Hope some mature posters read this, to much for your brain. His arithmetic isn't as bad as your English.
