Prior to this Sawers had been forced to sign an 'I will be good' agreement by the club as a last warning to him before revoking his season ticket. It's a big enough riddy if you have to sign one of them in order to get into games, let alone actually getting banned from your home stadium. He hasn't got a leg to stand on with his argument that he's being singled out.

Hawkeye the Gnu
Fully agree with Dindy. He's the kind of fuckwit who gives people with genuine mental health problems a bad name and add to the stigma. He's no more mentally ill than Happy Accie........oh, wait a minute.

While we all want Naismith it's not like by not signing him we won't be able to carry on with our plans of pulling away from the dross and getting a top 6 finish. I'm excited to see what he brings!
blackislekillie
Shrewd move by Clarke. Make the whole squad feel valued and there's a good chance it may persuade them to stay and work with him. I'm thinking of Dicker, Power and Jones here.
spinalmantella1
I'm sorry but I'm just not buying it from a mental health point of view. You could use that reasoning for absolutely anything that anyone does. Sawers is just an absolute fanny. His facebook post confirms this (if there was any doubt prior to it). f**k him. Bang on sir

C4mmy31
He might wind people up through his media work & comments, but credit where it's due, Boydie has launched his own charity to help people with mental health issues after the tragic loss of his brother. Kilmarnock Football Club is proud to help announce the launch of The Kris Boyd Charity, a foundation set up by our star striker with the aim of helping those suffering with mental health issues. The subject is particularly close to Kris’ heart following the tragic death of his brother Scott in September 2016, at the age of 27. Kris’ foundation aims to encourage people to talk about their mental health and offers a range of services to help tackle a range of mental health issues. A launch event will be held in The Park Hotel on Friday January 12 with coverage of the event on our club channels. The charity will host a Valentine's Ball at Ayr Racecourse on Saturday, February 17 with tickets priced at £70 per person. For more information on the foundation, visit The Kris Boyd Charity. http://www.thekrisboydcharity.co.uk/

C4mmy31
KILMARNOCK have opened talks with Kris Boyd over a new deal to extend his stay at Rugby Park.Fans’ favourite Boydy, 34, has scored six goals in the last five matches under new manager Steve Clarke. That has helped Killie soar into the Premiership top six in an unbeaten six-game run.Boyd has 12 goals for the season, with boss Clarke eager to tie him down until the summer of 2019.Talks are at an advanced stage and it’s likely the ex-Scotland striker will put pen to paper next week.

C4mmy31
My guess is its investment via, lifelong Killie fan Kenny Alexander, of GVC holding, who are in the process of bidding for Ladbroke Corals for £3.9bn, looking to invest in the club. Just a hunch, but exciting news whatever it is thou.....
