Gartcairn Army
Its fairly well know that Gartcairn have applied to be a junior team next season which will take the 2nd Division up to 12 teams. Is there any other teams interested or applied to join the Junior set up and if so would the SJFA accept more than one club?? Thanks
Hillonearth
Not heard of any others in the West, but the indications seem to be that Easthouses Lily might well go Junior next season over the other side of the country.

TheScout
An American scholarship company are looking to either apply to join the ADL or partner with an existing club to allow them to play their candidate squads before shipping them out to the US every summer. Might be the lot that played in the Kilwinning tournament in pre-season. They looked quite useful.

You do get good players, but they don't stay long. So consistency becomes an issue.

TheScout
They must be pretty good then. Did Troon have a proper team out? Gillies, Johnstone and Gunner the only noticeable starters missing. The scholarship team had 3 U17's in the squad including the keeper in second half
Hristo Stoichkov
In that case I hope our boys were holding back to save themselves for the end of the season. Have you applied to join the ADL next season?

Have you applied to join the ADL next season? You don't apply to join the ADL They would have to make an application to SJFA, state where they intend to play and have a management structure in place. They would then presumably be admitted as members of West region and presumably join ADL if they come within the Ayrshire district. Seems unlikely to happen but they could do with another viable club in that area to boost numbers and it would also make a nice round number for W of Scotland cup competition.
