If you think Thomson is an inspirational leader then you really need your head examined. Does he have ability - yes, but that is no good if you saunter around the park doing FA. Took a bad one off him, remembered his number and showed him who the daddy was later on. Further side note - Collum probably would have sent off 2 or 3 players in that game. Conversely this ref was far too lenient, speaking to boys 2 or 3 times before getting the cards out. Ofere was jumping at men the whole game and really should have been booked early on. If there was no split then Dundee wouldn't take their foot off the gas and we would be playing tougher opposition leading to a similar outcome probably. I'm fine with Dundee finishing above us, you've been better than us since Christmas and deserve to be where you are. The fact we're 6 points better off than Dundee yet still be behind you is daft, though. we did not invent the feckin split..............and yes it is a shite arrangement but we have to play to the muppets in charge rules. its not as if this is the first time something like this has happened is it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Deefiant Posted May 12, 2015 Share Posted May 12, 2015 The bulk of Dundees points this season have come against bottom 6 dross. Had we finished in the bottom 6 it's not beyond the realms of possibility we would have gone on to win 4 of the 5 games (we don't beat Ross county ) giving us a healthy points total. As it is we earned the right to play the "big boys" by pumping the bottom 6 dross all season so you can't complain that you now have a higher points total playing against said dross while we take on the stronger sides. Of the top 6 we have no league wins against Celtic, caley or Aberdeen and just the 1 win against Utd and saints so it was always going to be a big ask, particularly as we had nothing to play for from the first game.
