Of the two I'm happier with Gilfillan but I liked Blockley. Thought he got a hard time from some Airdrie supporters although there was a lack of an end product. I'm sure he'll do alright. I think he'll suit your style of play well and a change in surroundings will hopefully help his development as a player. It was more the travel that was getting hard for Gilly as prior to leaving he was having one of his best spells with us. Hopefully Blockley will work out for player & club. Update: Sean Crighton (Morton) and David Van Zanten (Dumbarton) have signed. Compared with what we usually have at this time of year that's quite encouraging. Not hard to see where Bollan's priorities are though, ignoring the Under 20s we have the goalie signed up and 5 defenders plus Fitzpatrick and Gilfillan who can both play defence. Hopefully Lister signs up and then we'll have the core of a good team. Would just need a bit of creativity and goals from midfield, might be banking on another Scott Fraser style loan signing for that area though as players in that position are always more expensive.
