Kris.
You could say it's the burgerning of the end for Sepp Blatter. Where'd you steal that line from, then?

7-2
Resign. No. Thought not but at least we get good PR for supposedly trying to do the right thing, eventually.
Tamdunk
I'm not too keen on sponsors coming out with this pish. They're not sponsoring it through some sort of altruism. If you disagree with how fifa is run, withdraw your sponsorship. Of course, that will never happen. I'd bet blatter has had a long term relationship with these sponsors and now they're throwing him under the bus too. I always thought blatter would get out of this, but he's getting ditched left right & centre and am not so sure now.
doulikefish
Interesting stuff breaking in the ethics committee investigation, seemingly england were horse trading votes with south korea and cameron and prince william were in the meeting, somehow i dont think this will be reported over here Martyn Ziegler @martynziegler 22m22 minutes ago Chung reveals England's 'rather incoherent' Geoff Thompson told ethics investigators England 2018 agreed vote-trading deal with Korea... Martyn Ziegler @martynziegler 20m20 minutes ago That charge dropped after Chung pointed out Prince William + David Cameron were also in the room when deal supposed to have been made.
Virtual Insanity
The England-Korea vote swap was reported in Heidi Blake and Jonathan Calvert's book. Supposdely the Koreans did a deal with England to get their vote and then voted for the Russians anyway top trolling.
TheLip69
If I remember correctly England are largely to blame for Blatter being in the job anyway. Didn't they promise to back Lennart Johansson for the FIFA job and change to Blatter at the last minute?

Alert Mongoose
Anyone watching this Panorama programme? The Americans really look like they are gunning for them - Blatter and co better get working on those pretendy breakdowns quickly.

Carl Cort's Hamstring
The presenter does look like he is waiting for Yewtree to catch up with him though! Andrew Jennings is great. Although it is hard to see him as this hard nosed investigative journalist. David Walsh looks and sounds the part much more.
