Any Kilmarnock players worth pinching off you again?

Your success rate of Kilmarnock signings recently is a bit hit and miss:

Boyd - major success first time around but not so good on the latest return.

Naismith - £2.5 million, 2 spells out with dodgy knee and now hated by the sevco fans for not moving to the new club.

Cammy Bell - gave the whole of Scottish football one of the best laughs in ages at Fir Park last May.

There's not many Scottish Premiership quality players at Rugby Park just now but they'd probably be good enough for the level your team operates at.

That's a good interview and gives a useful inside in to the young man:

Miller has tipped the versatile player to justify the faith which Warburton has shown in him and establish himself as a popular player with the Glasgow club.

“A lot of lads who come out of academies set their sights too high,” said Miller. “They go and play at the top end of the Conference. But these clubs are practically full-time professional outfits and many of the lads struggle. But Josh was prepared to drop down and did really well. He came in, knuckled down and got on with it. He had a brilliant attitude for someone so young. He went to Spain and did his own pre-season training for a fortnight with a friend. He was not there for a lads’ holiday. He was very committed.

“He is a really good kid. He was so focused on becoming a good player. He only trained with us a couple of nights a week but he went away and did a lot of his own training. He had his own fitness programme and went to the gym regularly. He always knew if he got it right he could bounce back.

Given we'll get him for buttons (if we wait until the summer) I don;t see how anyone could criticise this signing.

Keep them. You'll need them for the Championship next season then.

Good enough for our level?

Short memory. 3 of them tried last season.

I would imagine the bearz themselves will criticise it when they go through his history...

But Naismith was registered to Rangers as a player. When a player registration is transfered to another club a transfer fee can be demanded. Rangers went to FIFA and the SFA to arbitrate on the fee due for said transfer. How did that go again? I seem to remember FIFA and the SFA'S independent panel saying no fee was due as the current Rangers never held Naismith's registration at any point. Naismith was also on record as saying that he was not transferring over as they were not the same club.

Andy Holt having an absolute breakdown over these two Accrington Stanley players.

He seems to be trying to get involved in a Twitter argument with the official Rangers account.

Not what you'd expect from an owner of a football club.

Shows the difference between the two clubs in terms of stature. He's having a laugh if he thinks Rangers are going to get involved in a daft argument on social media.

Who is Andy Holt?Genuine question.

Accrington Stanley owner. Does not want to sell to Rangers. Celtic will probably sign the players for a laugh like they did that Hibs gudgie, what was he called again?

I don't think he's said he doesn't want to "sell" the players to Rangers.

And Celtic wouldn't be able to sign the players as they've already signed for Rangers until 2020.

Doesn't want to sell to them because he knows the chances of being paid are minimal!

Can't blame him. Stanley are a hard working well run wee club. Obviously not keen on been scammed by a bunch of shysters.

That'll teach me to jump in before reading the stories.

Still, they could always do a "Brittain".

To be pedantic, no they haven't.They are registered Accrington Stanley players and not in a position to sign for anyone else without the club's agreement, be it Rangers or anyone else. What they have presumably signed is a legal agreement confirming that they WILL sign for Rangers when free to do so. If they then go and sign for someone else there is absolutely nothing Rangers would be able to do to stop that happening though they would be able to sue the individual players for breach of contract.

Edited to add: See Richard Brittain - St Johnstone / Ross County debacle. A pre-contract has no legal standing with the football authorities.

haha :) Maybe you were more focussed on your own team. ;)

I don't own a team. I am a football fan who likes different teams with varying degrees and for varying reasons.
