AR851903
Let the speculation commence. I've a hunch that Aberdeen will start at Tynecastle. We've been at home on the first day for the last couple of years.
Teesside Accie
They can't. Hearts are in league cup action so one team will have the weekend off
oneteaminglasgow
They can't. Hearts are in league cup action so one team will have the weekend off Not necessarily. When we came up, the league and league cup started on the same weekend and the league cup game was moved to midweek rather than the league game. Would imagine Hearts will do likewise. TheScarf
We usually start against St Mirren. I'll wager that won't happen this season.
Slacker
Are Celtic boycotting the opening weekend again?

Stephen Malkmus
We'll be away to West Ham or Legia Warsaw in our first game of the season. Don't care about this diddy league any more to be honest.
D.V.T.
We've ended up with the promoted team on the first day a few times. Hearts at home I'll go for.

SteveThePirate
We'll be at home to someone like St Johnstone. Wouldn't mind it, easy 3 points to start off with.

emptyheed
Hearts and Celtic will both be at home for first games won't they? I'd certainly take a nice sunny away day somewhere, we'll be sick of McDiarmid after a few european games under the lights
Andershen
Kilmarnock away, probably.

Elixir
As has been mentioned already, both Hearts and Celtic will be at home and our League Cup game will get moved. There's not a chance it will take precedence over the opening league fixture.
Sherrif John Bunnell
Nothing could be worse than our opening match last season. A miserable defeat in the pissing rain on a Sunday afternoon at home to St Johnstone. I'm going to take a punt as us getting Dundee away.
ChrisMFCfan1886
I'm going to guess we will get Celtic away. Heard it here first

Jagsman411971
Remember, you have to take into account, that this is Scottish football we are talking about, so the fixtures will look something like this; Friday night - Aberdeen v Hamilton Saturday 3pm - Hearts v St Johnstone Inverness v Partick Thistle Sunday 12pm - Kilmarnock v Ross County Monday night - Motherwell v Dundee Utd Celtic and Dundee will have the weekend off to allow Celtic to play a friendly. The very definition of an opening weekend full of f**k all.
