mizfit
Sherwood must be getting the punt soon. I'll enjoy that. Moyes is being linked on an almost daily basis now.
The Grass Is Greener.
Could be a decent game tonight, I've stuck Swansea on a coupon for a wee double but tbh I'm not confident. Could be anything here. Stoke have a decent team on paper.

TheGreenElves
The tackle from Butland was deserving of at least a yellow card

callum-ayr
Smelling probably has been the best centre half so far this year in the League. Kompany would usually take the accolade, but he's not really been fit. Cahill/Terry - not been at it Williams - Starting to look shaky, bad game last night Skrtel - lol Alderwireld - continued well from last season, maybe could play for a top 4 team Koscielny/Mertesacker - they have an OK record as a partnership, but anytime I watch them, I'm not convinced Stones - all the Chelsea talk has went to his head IMO
CM.
I was one of Smallings biggest critics and laughed uncontrollably at his 2 bookings in the Manc Derby either last year or 2 years ago but he's came on leaps and bounds this season
J_Stewart
Aye, those laughing at Smalling or suggestions that he's the in-form centre half in the league are likely doing so purely on reputation alone. His performances for the vast majority of this season have been excellent. Phil Jones is still a complete liability though, so at least we can cling on to that and that we've not entered some mental alternate reality. Diamonds are Forever
Smalling has always been a bit rough round the edges but I've always said he had potential at centre back. The issue was David Moyes playing him at right back which he isn't in a million years. What's worse was that in the same team he would play Jones at centre back when right back is probably the best position for him. Got them the wrong way round. Ira Gaines
I've always laughed at Smalling on here, but I'm agreeing with this. He's been very good this season so far. Still prone to stupidity, but he's definitely improved.
The Grass Is Greener.
Playing next to Blind has helped him through games, he seems a good influence on him. I think he was backing playing with Jones against Everton though. Not sure how long that'll last before he's injured again.

It would be fantastic to have him in England. He'd be a superstar at any club in the World outside the big 2 in Spain.
