Freedom Farter Posted Tuesday at 14:23 Share Posted Tuesday at 14:23 (edited) A man in New York walked through an emergency exit at a train station which allowed him to bypass the ticket turnstile. Police then apprehended him on the train and shot him. The police also shot two random other passengers and one of the police managed to shoot their colleague too. So the police shot: - a man who'd failed to pay for a train ticket (reported to be $2.90). - a random passenger on the train. - another random passenger on the train. - each other. At the initial press conferences, the police claimed the non-ticket man had brandished a knife at them. They were asked to provide evidence of this knife, they said they couldn't because someone had stolen it (they genuinely claimed a train passenger witnessed a bloodbath and rather than recoiling in horror, went and stole a knife from someone who'd been shot). Finally, the police admitted there was no knife. This happened two days ago and the full picture is finally close to complete now. The mayor of New York getting "community noted" on Twitter was a highlight. He'd lied to try and cover for his donkey police. The big national outlets can be googled for the initial story a couple of days ago. For the details that've emerged since you need local New York media like this:
