macintosh
Kelty away to Civil Service Strollers or Newton Stewart in the Scottish Cup. Was good to get a bye, dont know a lot about either side other than where they are based. Civil Service Strollers East of Scotland Premier Division (Finished 5th) Founded: 1908 Last Scottish Cup: First Round (lost to Forres Mechanics) Interesting Fact: Play in the Muirhouse area of Edinburgh, the same place Scotland boss Gordon Strachan grew up. HibeeJibee
You'll be favourites to progress. Civil Service finished mid-table in the EOS Premier Division but have been recruiting some decent players by EOSL standards. I would expect them to beat Newton Stewart, but would expect you to beat them. However, it's the Scottish Cup, who knows!!
leomessi1984
Took in Kelty vs Oakley last night. Much changed Oakley team from when last I saw them about a year ago. Kelty dominated possession and should have won by more than 2-0 but Oakley did well in patches. Few younger boys started for Kelty and looked decent. Was impressed by Scott Gates for Kelty, he's a flying machine. Thought the sending off was harsh for a friendly but a player off that experiance should know better than to get involved in that stuff. Looking forward to watching Kelty again this season and sure they will be up there again.
james.
Surely ref could have used his common sense and asked the management to take the player off instead of red carding him....now the player will face a ban because of this after all it was a friendly
number4
No mate he had to go off,was silly reaction after he had avoided a wild and potential leg breaker of a tackle from a young boy, shouldn't have reacted the way he did but was lucky he seen the tackle coming as well. kefc
Match highlights from Saturday's match against Newtongrange. Obviously not the result we wanted but plenty of positives to take, created 5/6 great chances limited Newtongrange to 2 and dominated the match from start to finish. Still 7 top players to come back into the squad, Sean O'Neil, Garry Leighton, Brian Ritchie, Shaun Greig, Stephen Husband, Craig O'Reilly and Scott Dalziel. We need to go again on Wednesday away to Sauchie who had a good result at the weekend.
