German Jag
1-0 for Schalke after 10 minutes. Terrode, signed by Schalke in the close season from HSV.
Brummie Clyde
Karlsruhe top of the 2. Bundesliga, scoring 6 and conceding 1 after the opening 2 matches.Just give us the title now [emoji3]Think we lost our opening 4 games of last season, so a marked improvement.
German Jag
First home game with fans since last October. A disappointing 13.600 in attendance, 22.250 were allowed, with a good 2.000 Rostock fans there. No ultras / young team inside the stadium, but enough pavement-dancing/handbags @ 50 paces outside the stadium to keep the police (water cannon wagon plus helicopters in use) busy.As regards the game, a big let down following last weeks promising 1:1 away to Bremen.Rostock with a double sucker punch either side of half-time, and wrapped up the 3 points in injury time.As regards Covid restrictions, entry only allowed with proof of being either fully vaccinated, having recovered from Covid, or a LFT/PCR test not older than 24 hours. All tickets personalised, and ID cards checked on entry.Next weekend is 1st round of the DFB-Pokal. H96 play Tier 4 Eintracht Norderstedt from the Regionalliga Nord.Week after is away to Dresden. Not yet decided on whether to travel or not, 8:30 pm kick-off means either a hotel or a long night on local trains overnight.
Stellaboz
That's a shiter of a result. Are there worries about falling into 3rd Liga? It's a strong 2nd tier this season.

Need a a good 6 points minimum from those games to ensure not getting adrift of the top of the table.

Kasnudeln
Freiburg have announced they‘ll be playing first 3 home Bundesliga games of the new season at the old stadium. Problems with electrics and media facilities in the new stadium mean it’s the Dreisamstadion for Dortmund, Köln and Augsburg. First league game in new stadium now set to be Leipzig in mid October.
Boo Khaki
Looking forward to yet another season of chronic underachievement by Hertha, possibly including at least two managerial changes, gubbing one of the top four in Berlin followed by a humping by a bottom three side, and flirting with relegation until at least week 33, again. Sometimes wish we could just be proper shite like HSV for a bit, instead of this thing where there's a new manager buzz, a heap of signings, talk of loads of cash to spend, and they still turn out to be totally mediocre. Boo Khaki
Would be a bit less of a minter in Bundesliga 2 though. Especially with the tinpot outfit across the city doing so well with a fraction of Hertha's resources

Pie Of The Month
Not even bothering to show the Sunday games on the 1st weekend and no mention of 2. Bundesliga. Sounds pish compared to what we've had in the last few years. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/12040/12371653/bundesliga-to-be-shown-live-on-sky-sports-for-next-four-seasons
Christophe
Showing Borussia Monchengladbach Vs Bayern Munich opening Friday @ 7:30pm, then Borussia Dortmund Vs Eintracht Frankfurt at 5:30pm Saturday. Super Cup between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund on the Tuesday night after the opening weekend also being shown. The press release indicates it'll only be the Saturday 5:30pm game each week that will be regularly broadcast, does mention extra matches may be shown but Friday nights don't appear to be regularly planned
Rodhull
I know it says other matches will be shown including on their YouTube channel but even apart from 2. Bundesliga being missing this sounds way worse than BT's coverage.

Christophe
Away from the quantity of games shown the BT coverage was shite, at least we might see some studio analysis around games with Sky. Isn't Sky the German domestic rights holder over there, ready made set-up there to lean on.

Rob1885
Good news imo. Scottish Premiership and Bundesliga on the same platform, no reason for me to subscribe to anywhere else really. A lot of journos on twitter seem sure the deal will involve the friday night game, Saturday evening game and the 2 sunday games moving forward (I realise that detail was absent in Skys announcement)
