paul-r-cfc
Think they won the league a couple of weeks ago. Ah it's 34 games in bundesliga isn't it? Was thinking it was 36 for some reason

Allan Jacobsen
Questions are being raised as to whether RB Leipzig will be able to play in the Champions League: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39908923

That could mean perennial bottlers Salzburg would enter the qualifiers whereas Leipzig would be denied an automatic spot in the group stage. Not the outcome Red Bull will be hoping for.

Jimmy85
Heading across to Düsseldorf next weekend for the final game of the season. Really hope they're in a position to be relegated for potential scenes tbh.
lichtie23
Terrific win for Hannover. All to play for next week
German Jag
Brilliant day out! Super atmosphere in the stadium, which got better & better with every goal for Bielefeld. A point next Sunday in Sandhausen seals promotion, plus also needs a big swing in goal-difference if H96 contrive to lose.Play-off candidates from the BL1 are SV Hamburg or VfL Wolfsburg who play each other next Saturday.
Tibbermoresaint
Kudos to you GJ (posted from Hackescher Markt having failed to get tix to see Union capitulate to Heidenheim. Probably just as well. Still, the Weihenstephan is going down very well indeed)
Brummie Clyde
Hamburg still in trouble. They seem to be fighting relegation every season nowadays.

Allan Jacobsen
Interesting day in Germany kicks off at 12:30 with the final games of the 3. Liga season being played. From what I can see, 3 teams can still go down including Paderborn, who seem to be modelling themselves on Cowdenbeath. They've got the most difficult game against Osnabruck - although Osnabruck have only won one of their last five games. Also, it's between Jahn Regensburg and Magdeburg, who are of "the goal is that way" fame, for the promotion playoff spot. Bundesliga kicks off at 2:30 with Borussia Dortmund and Hoffenheim fighting it out for the final CL spot. More interestingly, HSV and Wolfsburg face each other with the loser facing a relegation playoff. HSV need to win to avoid the relegation playoff, Wolfsburg only need a point. Augsburg are only ahead of Wolfsburg by one goal so there's a chance that they could also end up in the relegation playoff. Mainz are safe, bar an absolute scheme booting for them.

Allan Jacobsen
Duisburg win 3. Liga - should have mentioned before that either them or Kiel could win the league today. Both teams won their games but Duisburg win it by a point. Werder Bremen II win, which condemns Paderborn to a third consecutive relegation. Fucking hell. Fuctifano
Watched the end of the Paderborn game, some absolute top class WUM stuff from Osnabrueck who had nothing to play for but still timewasted and took the ball to the corner. Duisburg need to not make the same mistake as 2 years ago and assume their existing squad will be enough to compete, by the time they realised it wasn't and strengthened they were too far back, though they still made a monumental arse of the relegation playoff vs Wurzburg. Allan Jacobsen
Wolfsburg are in the relegation playoff. Most likely against Eintracht Braunschweig.
S7C
Hamburg are the jammiest b*****ds on the planet. Nice to see Dortmund clinch a CL spot. Although it looks like Tuchel will be out and Favre in.
German Jag
Bayern, RB Leipzig @ Dortmund secure the CL group stage spots. Hoffenheim go into the CL qualifiers.Cologne go into the EL group stage, with Hertha picking up the EL qualifier spot.Freiburg will be hoping that Dortmund win the DFB-Pokal final next Saturday, since that would see a EL spot filter down to them. Otherwise Frankfurt would qualify as cup winners.
German Jag
Wolfsburg are in the relegation playoff. Most likely against Eintracht Braunschweig. As long as H96 don't shit the bed tomorrow, then it'll be Wolfsburg v. Braunschweig.1st leg is in Wolfsburg on Thursday, 24th.That day is also Ascension Day, which is a national holiday in Germany. Is also celebrated as Vatertag (Father's day), whereby groups of men go out for a bit of male bonding and get Jagfoxd as quickly as possible, which should lead to a fired up atmosphere in the stadium.Have been offered a free VIP hospitality pass, so will enjoy watching the carnage from the padded seats.
