Enjoyed it today. Good atmosphere with both sets of fans mingling with no problems whatsoever. Nothing between the teams as shown in the 2 league games previously. Confident we'll come through at home though.

MTLN.

Agree totally. Thought Ford edged it slightly but draw was a fair result. Lok keepers save from McKillen header in the first half was top drawer. Gutted I'll miss the second leg.

Mon the ford , pressures on pollok . They never ever looked like scoring today

Bar the first 5mins neither did Hurlford. Can't think of either keeper being forced into a save of any quality. Routine day for both of them.

The pressures on pollok there at home , good support today but no where near what the Talbot brought

The pressure is still on Hurlford. The money spent on their team (to the detriment of the park) is all around winning the league or the cup. Lose next week and their season is a failure.

For Pollok it was always about survival in the league, which has been achieved.

Do you know today's attendance and the 1/4s attendance or is it just a guess?

I suppose if Talbot had a bigger support that must have meant it would have been 5 Talbot fans for every Hurlford as today was easily 4 Pollok for every Hurlford fan.

The pressure is all on Pollok. How are you supposed to maintain your superiority complex when beaten by a village team from Ayrshire?

Honestly answer...

Do you think if you don't win the cup this season your manager will still be in a job next season? Two years without the big two trophies and he will be gone. That's why the pressure is on Hurlford
