Old Archive Footage Of Your Hometown

Recommended Posts

Saw this elsewhere and enjoyed it, so thought I'd share it on here.

Click on the link and type in the name of your hometown and you will be presented with archive old footage of the town. Quite enjoyed the novelty of seeing places I'd been and how they were decades before I was born.

No matter what I type it just takes me to a map of the place with no other options.

Working for me. What location did you type? I've noticed that it will sometimes give geographically close results, rather than totally accurate, if it's dealing with an area it doesn't have much archive footage of. A search for "Knightswood" for example, throws up footage from Bearsden and Clydebank.
