Anybody been watching this. The 1st episode the manager or the coral shop was a right w**k. thought tonights was a decent watch, small time punter at the races with his Mrs and the golf tipster trying to win a fortune before his wean was born lol

The boy about to have the kid was an absolute clown.

The bit when he was singing "this will not be beaten, this will no be bea- it's gonna get beat" was hilarious

Found this pretty interesting. I am only a very causal gambler (weekly £2 accumulator and the odd casino visit) but my dad and granddad have always both been really seriously into the horses. The guy who had the betting account and was about to have a baby was a bit of an arse but I still found him intriguing. Must admit I had a feeling of "right, time to start betting properly" whilst watching it but my fiancé quickly told me that if I had any ideas to start gambling away our wedding fund that I should forget about it!

Couldn't believe that guy actually had a column in the racing post.

His strategy at one point seemed to be, go to the bookies and piss money away on dogs!

Still does, he had tips for this week's golf in yesterday's paper. I quite liked him, it was good to see a tipster being just a normal punter rather than some arrogant dinosaur, he just needs to lay off the horses and dogs and stick to what he knows

He had it all worked out aswel, noticing the syndicate were all round the outsider and not their more fancied runner.

When it won, I was almost hoping he had a fiver on it. At least his wife had a pound on it too !

The desperation of the guy at the FOBT machine, even when he had that big win and he looked all happy, "I'm going home now". Aye but you will be back in the morning. Terrible seeing someone that addicted to some shitey machine like that.

Started watching this and i've caught up now. Agree those scenes were scary watching that guy. I like the odd spin on roulette, but I've never lost more than like a tenner on it. Also used to be pretty bad for constant big bets on the football but I've sort of controlled it now. I don't think I could totally give it up, but if I only put a 5/10er coupon on each week that should give me my fix.

But some of the sights on this programme are scary, like the guy that was 400k down, awful.

Felt more sorry for the unemployed guy in the first episode, who was also addicted to FOBTs but was only betting a gambling a fraction of what the tattooed guy in the 3rd episode (which was basically his dole money). It didn't help that the arsehole manager in the shop was basically encouraging him to keep playing, whereas the woman in the 3rd episode seemed concerned about the amount of money the guy was losing.

The cameras followed the guy when he received his dole money and had to cross town to buy a pair of shoes for a job interview and had to "run the gauntlet" of a dozen bookies to get to Primark.

Was genuinely pleased for the guy when he managed to get his shoes and subsequently got offered the job, although for that chap, I'm guessing every day having to do that would be a constant struggle.

Yeah didn't have too much sympathy for the ducker and diver guy from last night, was more intruiged how he got 2k tbh.

Must have punted a load of gear and then blown the dough.

He didn't look like that sort of lad that had a couple of grand going spare...

Just caught up on it now.

Thought it was the best of the three shows.

Simon Clare is the typical corporate guy, all teeth and platitudes but deep down you would never trust him.

Felt huge sympathy for the guy blowing £2k in the FOBT.

Coral's justification that Hayes is vibrant with lots of disposable income was unbelievable. I spent a lot of time in Hayes and I can assure them that it most definitely is a poor area.

Thought the Tylers from Romford dogs came across brilliantly, his 96 year old dad who worked at Walthamstow until he was 90 was amazing.

It's tragic what's happened to the greyhound racing industry in the UK.
