They had ex Queen of the south striker up top. Chris mclenagan plays middle park.... A lovely footballer. Should be playing at a level. John Stewart (budgie) up top. Baller Posted October 12, 2015 Share Posted October 12, 2015 I played last season with Kings Arms from Dumfries Sunday league. But folded at end of season. Play with Normandy Star now in same league. We got pumped 11-2, I played outfield as we where short on players but probably wouldn't have competed regardless. We did take the lead and held them for 20minutes. Their pitch is the worst I've played on on a hill that is unreal. And there has been badgers or whatever there called digging holes so they where covered with sand and was probably dangerous to play on. Their strikers are different class, they where surprisingly missing 4 defenders apparently. Tall lad in midfield has a bit class about him too. To be fair its hard to judge as castle united are murder, their in second division in the poorer of the edinburgh leagues and have played 4 lost 4 so id expect any semi decent side to beat you. To be fair you scraped by a very poor highland park in their first season 2-1, gartcairn from airdrie used to be cellar bar and are better than anything in that edinburgh league so will see standard wise the difference!Unless luck of draw and even then i dont see a team from edsafa making the quarters, lothian utd and salters may well by folks opinions on here but thats only edinburgh teams thatll get close Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Big pencil is quality, ex juniors and it shows. Rosewell are a good honest team, top lads and won't embarrass themselves against anyone.
