pub car king
Does anyone remember this it was on late night channel 4 about 12 years ago? It was a film review show hosted from a video shop in some shite looking town in the west of scotland. There were 2 guys on it a Scottish guy with a pony tail and and a mental Welsh guy with bleached hair. Every week they would review straight to video trash films and dick around. killienick
Vidz. They were mentalists. Loved that show.
Wile E Coyote
Welsh guy was Nigel Buckland and the other guy was Stef Gardiner
Scary Bear
Yes. The Welsh guy still gets occasional talking head opportunities on BBC. I think it was Casualty that he referred to as "character driven death w**k". He usually had some good lines on Vidz.
Troptimus
This show was fantastic. I used to see Big Stef in the Strathclyde Uni Union around about the time it was being broadcast on TV – jolly good egg and seemed humbled/embarrassed by the drunken hero-worship that came his way. Some people may also recall another show from around that era called called Bits. Three women reviewed computer games and, although nowhere near as good as Vidz, was a pretty good watch. Bully Wee Villa
Vidz was ace. Remember they had Wanky the Sock Puppet or something like that. Must've made a lasting impression on Throbber.
King Kebab
Vids was class!!! Some parts still available on Youtube, such as Nigel proving why television is "shit on a biscuit"!!!
