Widge
Some Tomic level choking from Darcis here.
Widge
Some Tomic level choking from Darcis here. But finishes it off on a tiebreak. Ok away to the Belgium clay we go. That'll eliminate Dan Evans from playing and I'd probably put some money on Kyle Edmund making his first start, since he's a better clay court player than Ward. Toughie, especially if we're wanting Murray to play all 3 matches, since the sets on clay are going to be longer and more gruelling physically. Lot of running and stretching.

Tamdunk
Pretty impressive stuff from the Murray's, sadly this Scotland/Britain pish always follows any Murray success. How many points haven't been won by Murray in this run?
booitsme7
How many points haven't been won by Murray in this run? Just the one point which was won James Ward beat John Isner in the first round. Edited September 20, 2015 by booitsme7

Shannon
Everyone has been talking about clay court in Belgium but surely if end of November it's going to have to be indoors hard court in a suitable venue? Never really seen tennis played in very cold conditions outdoor in November?!

Shannon
They could put down a clay court indoors I'm sure Yeah they certainly could just never seen a tournament in indoor clay court always been outdoor clay courts and never seen major tennis tournaments played outside in a European winter. Having a quick search on Google its very uncommon to have an indoor clay court so would have to put it down fast plus you need a certain capacity for the Davis Cup Final.

HibeeJibee
They've 2 suitably-sized indoor venues with tennis experience which look likely candidates. (Antwerp) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sportpaleis (Hasselt) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethias_Arena Used to invariably use indoor clay for ties - 2001 (Ghent), 2005 (Leuven), 2007 (Liege & Ostend), 2009 (Charleroi), 2010 (Bree) and 2013 (Charleroi & Antwerp). Have used indoor carpet, 2001 (Liege) - and indoor hard, 2011 (Charleroi & Antwerp), 2015 (Liege & Brussels) - and outdoor clay, 2012 (Brussels), 2015 (Middlekerke).
