Sooky
Ach well, being disappointed at going out in the semi-finals of the Davis Cup you're trying to defend just shows the huge steps forward that British tennis has taken.
John Lambies Doos
Hope the c***s get pumped rotten in the final. Nope. Hope they win... superb country, superb passionate citizens and brilliant wine. Vamos Argentina! Vamos Delpo
Loki
John Lloyd is utterly shocked that Leonardo Mayer plays solid tennis. I didn't think Mayer played anywhere near as good as the BBC are telling us, but he was far too solid for Dan Evans. Evans gave away his serve cheaply at times, and couldn't really put the pressure on Mayer. After pretty much everyone stating that can't believe that Del Potro didn't play, it seems that only one that knew he didn't need Del Potro to beat Evans was the Argentinian captain. Fair play and I hope they win the final.

The man is a cretin who kept tennis back in the UK for a decade. Murray totally right to tell him to fuk off many years ago. As for inverdale; how he holds onto his job is beyond me

dogmc
Gotta give credit to Argentina thoroughly deserved the win. Must be gutting for Murray having put so much into all 3 matches and missed his grandfather's funeral. With the benefit of hindsight might have been better having Evans play pella. Edmund didn't really get going and the fact that Murray horsed him despite virtually playing one one leg n being gubbed shows pella was the nearest thing to a weak link in their team. Mayer showed why he has been ranked in the twenties. Ultimately the better team won.

Shame but spose something has to give when you see how knackered Murray was and how difficult it is to schedule between slams n masters. Neutral venue for final makes sense too.

Loki
Djokovic withdraws from the Beijing Open. This means he will lose 500 points have a 0 in one of his four other tournaments that count towards his ranking. You would have to think his participation in the Shanghai Masters the week after is also under threat.

John Lambies Doos
If Murray has a good end of year here.. he could probably make no 1 after Oz, if joker goes out early

Totally agree.Wouldn't care if he was no 1 for only one wk, he'd still be no 1. Him too I'd say
The-coo-shed
Strange match against Kuznetsov so far. Murray has broken him in every one his service games! Takes the 1st set 6-2.
The-coo-shed
Wins 6-2 6-1. Should have been a double bagel. The three games he lost were all on his serve! Plays Edmund next.
Elixir
Saw his first serve in stats for yesterdays match and they were a bit grim. Same again here? Impressive win nonetheless. Edited October 5, 2016 by Elixir
