peasy23
Murray one set all against some random jobber Wins it 2-1, convincing enough in the end after a sluggish start.
Loki
Aye it was a solid performance on serve, not put under pressure at all. The key to his comeback is his serve. Return of serve was eventually in, went through a variety of shots to get practice in. Match point in typical Murray fashion with a lobbed winner. Nothing to get too excited about as it is challenger level, but certainly more encouraging than his last attempt at the challenger tour. Plays Gian Marco next who is ranked 230. Max Marterer once won 11 games off Nadal at Roland Garros, not many have achieved that.

Anyone who can win 11 games against Nadal in Paris must be pretty handy on that surface

Eednud
Danland goes into 5 day lockdown but tennis players classified as essential workers so the Australian Open continues. No spectators though but not sure if that’s from tonight or tomorrow. ETA: Spectators tonight then none from Saturday to Wednesday at this stage. MONKMAN
Djokovic having to dig deep in the final set here.
Loki
Hoping to watch a bit more of the tennis this weekend. Djokovic said he has a muscle tear. I’d imagine it’s more of his injury BS, will be like a renewed man to chop Raonic. The final set from Novak was exceptional. I only saw the first and fifth sets of the Kyrgios match, but the contrast was clear. Thiem being almost touching the backboard when returning. Plus Kyrgios couldn’t quite get the same lethality on serve 3.5 hours in. If you gave Murray Kyrgios serve at Wimbledon he would never lose a match. Murray currently a set and a break up. You can view the match on the ATP website.
John Lambies Doos
Thiem is som boiGreat to see Andy do wellRe, Novak..I'm afraid he's cried wolf too often and today (genuine or not) will just lead to more dislike for the guy...
Loki
It got sticky at the end of the second set. Gifted Rola a break and was 5-1 down in the tie breaker. Got it back to 5-4, left a ball that was clearly out, and no one called it out. Did a full Kyrgios rant at the umpire, as it gave Rola set points. Managed to sneak it in the end. Plays Matheus Bourgue tomorrow who had him in all kinds of trouble at the French Open the year he made the final.
