Loki
Murray will play either a qualifier or Lucky Loser in round one. Then possibly Felix AA (can’t spell his name ), Hurkacz, Tsitsipas, Djokovic and Medvedev. Some draw. Paris is always a funny Masters so wouldn’t be surprised to see those already secured their ATP Finals berth in Turin lose early.

Given his luck with draws this year it's no surprise he gets probably the toughest qualifier.

He will be on tomorrow evening from 6.30pm. I think he’ll be due a lucky draw soon

Connor7
Lost the deciding set in a tie break. Had 7 match points and couldn’t convert any. The choice of his shot selection on match points were very strange, gave the points away. Was in control in the tie break, disappointing to not see that out.He really needs to start showing signs of improvement, at the moment he’s out by the 2nd round most tournaments.
Lex
He really needs to start showing signs of improvement, at the moment he’s out by the 2nd round most tournaments. I don’t think he does. He obviously enjoys the competition and playing, otherwise he would retire. He doesn’t have anything to prove to anyone and if he never makes another third round again it won’t diminish his legacy in any way. He’s 34 and a half so the chances of ‘improvement’ are slim to none. As anyone who has been around that age will tell you, things start going downhill quickly [emoji28]

His serve has generally been better, his plus one shot after the serve has been better. His issue is he doesn’t have the power to hit through a slow court. Even if he won last night, he would likely be playing FAA. That’s going to continue for the future. He will be getting tough draws and until he can take a big scalp, that will continue. I think he needs the end of the season, it’s like the end of 2014, he just hasn’t got much left in the tank. Time off to work on technical aspects, and build for next year. That’s only the sixth match in his career where he has squandered match points. The last time it happened was nine years ago, where he went on a run of three tournaments squandering match points. Famously wasting five against Djokovic.

I’m sure this will only motivate him further going into the next tournament.
Loki
The point where he charged the net and hit the passing shot down the line and had to avoid the net, you could clearly see how much he loved it. I genuinely think he will improve and continue to do so. However without some radical change if he wants to win a title again, he can not be out there grinding for three hours a match extracting errors because of his solidity. A lot of last night was due to fatigue and mental errors. Rest up for Stockholm. Get drawn against the number one seed, take them on fresh. Gets the win he is effectively the number one seed, gets beat he can work on his off season. It looks like his body is now holding up, so it gives him the opportunity for a good close season and a fresh run at the year next year.

Lost to Raonic in Tokyo, Djokovic in Shanghai and Jerzy Jankowicz in Paris. Just to show that Murray isn’t that far away Koepfer beat FAA in straight sets. Plays Hurkacz next and with Tsitsipas withdrawing the draw has opened up.

Loki
Draws a qualifier and then will face the number one seed in the second round. Hopefully the court will be a bit faster than the Paris courts.

peasy23
England rugby union head coach Eddie Jones with a totally bizarre outburst at Emma Raducanu. The man is a buffoon. Couldn't even mention her by name and oblivious to the fact that the Vogue photoshoot he references was done before the US Open.He cites "distractions", a bit rich from a man who has a couple of other jobs apart from his main role.
