BigBadSaint
Ha ha Robredo giving Murray the double middle finger at the net at the end. Top bantz :) That was hilarious....you would too after a second match where you had 5 match points and he still hung in and beat you.......that was absolutely brutal.......both of them struggling to stand by the end. Up to 5 in the Race to London. Great game !
Distant Doonhamer
Great match. Really gutsy win again by Andy. Great stuff
Dog: A Bounty Hunter
Really good match that.
John Lambies Doos
Mentioned above I think.... but although murray has a stinker draw in Paris... it wud take a bizarre set of results for him not to qualify for London. I think raonic, ferrer, and berdych would all need to make semis... dimotrov would need to win???
Loki
Some match. The two tie breaks were pretty darn exciting. Robredo played very well at points in the match and was unlucky not to win the match. He now moves back into the top eight and is 200 behind Berdych in fifth. With Wawrinka in poor form he has 580 points to defend, so the 1000 gap to him could be made up if Murray does well in Paris and the WTF, and Wawrinka continues his poor form. If he beats Dimitrov his qualification will be assured, however it will take a specific set of results to see him finish out with the qualification spots now.
booitsme7
Great gutsy win that was for Murray which has put him in a good position to qualify for London. Moving on to Paris Murray will start with either Yen-Hsun Lu or Julien Benneteau who play each other tomorrow.
Virtual Insanity
What a match that was. One of the best 3 set matches you will ever see. Murray not always at his best (understandable given he's played 20 matches in 5 weeks!) but just showed unbelievable determination to hang in there, thought he was done when Robredo thumped a stunning return on match point. Here's an excellent summary of the situation re: London https://cleaningthelines.files.wordpress.com/2014/10/race-to-london-murray-wins.png The sequence of results needed for Murray to miss London is pretty unlikely to say the least, which is good as I suspect he'll go out pretty quickly after this week, which probably isn't the worst thing, especially if he wants to have a shot in London.
Virtual Insanity
PS Also kind of hoping he loses to Dimitrov if he gets there as I'd rather see him in London than the hopelessly boring Raonic, although he would then need to beat Djokovic too.
booitsme7
Andy Murray will play Julien Benneteau after he beat Yen-Hsun Lu 6-3 6-4.
Nightmare
Comfortable 6-3 6-4 win.
TheScarf
Dimitrov in the next round shall be tricky. That said, Murray is on fire right now and has had a better year overall.
Loki
I quite fancy Murray to put Dimitov in his place and gain vengeance for his Wimbledon loss. This Chardy Federer match is quite exciting. Chardy chucked away the first set, but toughed out to take the second set. Chardy to serve first in the final, and could put pressure on Federer if he can hold his serve in the first few games.
Loki
Haha lost his serve in the first game of the final set and never broke back. France has so many good players in the top 100 and I hope they win the Davis cup over the Swiss. The difference between Spanish players and French always interests me. The Spanish are taught the tactical side of the game exceptionally well, while the French allow the players to express themselves and concentrate on skills. If you somehow was able to merge both methods of learning with good practice you'd have a factory of winners coming out.
Loki
Dimitrov is getting taken apart. Murray wins 6-3 in the first set with a double break and leads 3-0 in the second. Toying with him at times, moving him and then passing him or forcing him to take a shot on that he just can't pull off. I dare say Murray will have a dodgy service game at some point.

peasy23
As convincing as he has looked for a long time, thought he was excellent throughout.
Distant Doonhamer
Tremendous run of form from Murray to seal his place at world Tour Finals. Superb effort, great to see.
The-coo-shed
Great Victory! Don't think he will beat Djokovc (if he gets through) but Wawrinka is now in his sights for 4th in the rankings. By having a great end to year, he has set himself up very nicely to establish and maintain that top four place. Hopefully the big three can become the big four again!
MarkoRaj
Mad to think how long he went without beating a top 10 player. On fire now!
