Loki
All he has to do is match Nadal's performance and he will overtake him. Nishikori is just behind the two of them as well.
booitsme7
Murray beat Young 6-4 6-2 and plays Santiago Giraldo next. Giraldo beat Murray the last time but Murray has a 2-1 win record against him and all 3 matches have been played on clay.
booitsme7
Murray beats Giraldo 6-3 6-4 for his 499th win. He plays Kevin Anderson next on Tuesday which hopefully will be his 500th victory.

TheScarf
Should be a 2-0 victory against Anderson later. He always shites it against the top players, so does Anderson.......

booitsme7
Murray wins in 3 sets for 500th win. well done that man. Murray is the 46th man to reach 500 wins and he has done it in 10 years. Next up for Murray is Dominic Thiem.
THE KING
Thiem cautious serving for 1 set game here could be a mistake.
booitsme7
Murray wins in 3 sets 3-6 6-4 6-1. He will play Tomas Berdych or Juan Monaco in the Semi-Finals.
Mr Bairn
Murray is quietly putting together a fantastic start to the year With the exception of two really bad days, of course, the QF mullerings by Gilles Simon and Borna Coric, but thankfully they came in 500 level events. As well as helping GB win a davis cup tie, he was a finalist in the Australian open, a semi finalist at Indian Wells and will be hoping to at very least make the final in Miami now. After Miami, he takes a well deserved month off before the clay swing, the grass swing, and the davis cup tie against France.
peasy23
Murray wins in 3 sets 3-6 6-4 6-1. He will play Tomas Berdych or Juan Monaco in the Semi-Finals. Berdych won in straight sets, so it's the first meeting for Murray and him since the Aussie Open semi final.
TheScarf
Murray is winning this tournament. He loves Miami and the weather. Completes the hat-trick of MM titles on Sunday IMO.
peasy23
Kim was spotted with a copy of the latest Viz Profanisaurus, must be doing a bit of pre match swatting up. :-D
Nightmare
I thought that was a really comfortable win, maybe surprisingly so against a guy who often gives him trouble. Not at any point did it look like he wasn't going to win today. Isner on Sunday, please.

Very comfortable I thought, pretty much in control from start to finish, excellent to see at this stage of the season. Hopefully he can keep that up in the final.
John Lambies Doos
Big match for Murray. He needs to get over this recent physiological blib v Joker. No better place than Miami

Maybe I'm being naive but with his level of play this week - apart from the first set against Thiem - I'd fancy his chances against Djokovic.

booitsme7
Thoroughly enjoyed Murray's performance tonight to see him into his 4th Miami Open Final and to level his head to Head with Berdych at 6-6. Murray won the title in 2009 (Djokovic 6-2 7-5) & 2013 (Ferrer 2-6 6-4 7-6) but lost in 2012 to Djokovic 6-1 7-6. I expect Murray to be playing Dlokovic on Sunday who he has lost to the last 6 times with his last victory against him being the Wimbledon Final.
