lichtie23
Verdasco is an absolute demon at times. Must be a total nightmare playing him when he's redlining. Breaks again. Three in a row. Heads gone a bit now.

CowdenConvert
Verdasco must have found a new gluten free diet over the off season the way he's been playing. Edited January 6, 2017 by CowdenConvert

The-coo-shed
Has Novak lost weight? Pretty sure he has gone completely vegan now which might have something to do with it!
Elixir
As long as Murray wins his match now, I can't say I'm disappointed about seeing them lock horns so early in the year. Hopefully he keeps improving their head to head record.
Nightmare
Proper bottle job by Verdasco, that one. 5 match points in the 2nd set.

Arsenal's "invincibles" didn't include preseason friendlies in their 49 game unbeaten run.
Disco30
More than happy to have the chance to see the world number 1 beat the world number 2 so early on anyway will be massive for Andy mentally if he could win the tournament by beating joker. Here's hoping
The-coo-shed
Poor Berdych. When was the last time he beat Murray, Djokovic or even Federer? He's a good player but just can't seem to win against the top guys.

Elixir
Could really put another statement out for Australia by beating Novak again now. Should be a good yin.
Loki
Berdych last beat Murray in Cinci in 2013, a month later he had his back surgery. Berdych last beat Djokovic in a Clay Masters in 2013, last beat Federer in Dubai 2013, last beat Nadal in 2015 Australian Open and hasn't beaten Wawrinka since beating him in the Davis Cup in 2013. Berdych has changed his game over the years, to go from sheer power and red lining to beat opponents, to try and grind with them. He just isn't as good as the others. I think Ivanisevic will help him this year though.
