superbigal
I see 10 games tomorrow probably involving planned trips over the bridge. East Houses Lily v Rosyth probably the biggest pain in the erse. I dont suppose Lithgy will be too inconvenienced so have not included their trip to "weak" and of course Hill of Beath bowling green will be off for a few weeks anyway. tommyboy
SNP cuts letting the Bridge go to rack and ruin. Hearing the new bridge may be open quicker!! Junior_Arab
I'd imagine the ER will have to make some kind of contingency plan, as it seems likely that several clubs will experience issues with travel tomorrow. Do you call games off? Try to make allowances for clubs arriving late / not at all? Its not like we can push back kick off times. Is there something in the rulebook for missing fixtures for exceptional circumstances outwith a clubs control?

Auld Heid
Yeah, and they just stood back and watched while the Clyde Arc bridge went all squinty! Mind you not being able to get to Fife isn't really all that bad a thing.
Vollyman
The clubs have a responsibility to fulfil their allocated fixture therefore clubs will have to make contingency plans to overcome the delays
Bruno marsbar
Train might be a good option for a few of the games. ..going to be gridlock on Kincardine Bridge
superbigal
It will be the bar stewards in black that swan in 5 minutes before kick off and then still have a 30 minute warm up. Saw it twice last season. Broty involved both times.
Marlowe
SNP cuts letting the Bridge go to rack and ruin. Hearing the new bridge may be open quicker!! Presume you would rather have a Donald Dewar in charge so he could illegally and secretly sell it to American Express and send those who refused to pay the crossing charges to the Sheriff Court and jail as they did with the Skye Bridge. How much does it cost now to cross the bridge?
sponsorsladdie
I wouldn't worry too much. I'm pretty sure the weather will gun most games over the next few weeks.

Deanburn Dave
AVOID CLACKMANNAN BRIDGE if travelling South. The almost constant traffic coming off the motorway heading to the Kincardine bridge means that the traffic coming from the Clackmannan bridge cannot get onto the roundabout. At the moment crossing the Kincardine is 20 times faster than crossing the Clackmannan.
shuggie123
Should be easy enough for fixtures secretary to sort out for 12th and 19th Dec, no fixtures 26th Dec and 3rd jan. Looking at the super league for example split the teams into two groups and organise fixtures from there. Group 1 Boness, Bonnyrigg, Newtongrange, Musselburgh, Penicuik, Linlithgow, Broxburn and Fauldhouse Group 2 Kelty, Carnoustie Sauchie Hill of Beath, Tayport, Broughty, St Andrews and Camelon. Obviously Hill of Beath have an outstanding Scottish tie which could affect this. Makes too much sense. Can't see fixtures being organised that way. It's the Haddington game that requires the biggest detour as an addition to an already long journey. The bridge being closed meant the other two bridges were busy today, but not to a standstill. Think Saturday's will probably be a little quieter.....
tamthebam
Next week's South fixtures seem to have taken into account the travel problems.. except for poor old Lochgelly who have to go to Easthouses. Get off at Waverley lads, go up onto North Bridge and a No 3 bus will get you quite close to the ground...
