Granny Danger
Wow. A double whammy. Undoubtedly an orchestrated campaign. Surely not cotbyn's people? I think more likely to be someone protecting the paedo ring. Or it could just be an abused wife who sees that he's finally vulnerable. There will be hopefully others who can carry on the fight of exposing paedophiles but I'll be delighted to see this sleazy right wing c**t out on his arse. I've got no time for him but the 17 yo girl thing looked like a created storm. If this is not linked to that I'll be surprised. It's all very house of cards. But f**k em - he's a c**t. If the allegations are true regarding forcing his ex to have sex with him then I have no sympathy with the man, but something doesn't smell right about this. jmothecat
The end of the labour party? How come? Party is breaking down at constituency level. Corbyn is extremely divisive and Momentum supporters are trying to make moderates unwelcome in the party. The leadership is pursuing a course which doesn't resonate with the electorate, and they hardly seem to care. Labour are making themselves irrelevant to the general public and unwelcoming to a large proportion of its own activist base. I'm struggling to see how Labour will be electable again. Corbyn's whole philosophy is opposed to this kind of politics. It looks darker than that - very old school. It reeks of an establishment stitch up to me (gets tinfoil hat out of cupboard, places firmly on head).

DrewDon
I really can't stand Simon Danczuk, and, if I'm being entirely honest, I'd rather he wasn't a Labour MP. In these circumstances and considering the nature of the allegations, however, it's tough to derive any pleasure from his pending downfall. John Lambies Doos
I'm not much inclined to give up, I just struggle to see how the party will get through this. The problem as I see it is that the right wing of the party is too much like the Torys and the left wing of the party is unelectable in the UK. The other problem is that Scotland no longer trusts labour and sees them as a branch office. No spin or rhetoric will change this Constant negativity towards a very capable Scottish Govt is killing Labour in Scotland but they are incapable of change. A big split is coming and an independent Scottish Labour party offering full devo max (not the pish that's been spun) may, just may stand a chance. Fucking moderates? If c***s like you had your way you'd take the Labour Party back to the days of Blair, a man who had no place in a socialist party. It may take Labour a long time to reestablish itself but hopefully when it does it will offer a real alternative to the Tories rather than just a watered down version. ICTChris
I doubt that Corbyn et al have a media operation that could pull this off. Chances are the papers have known about this for ages and have sat on it. Some journalists have been saying that there's been chatter around his personal life for a while. At least Karen is sticking up for him.
