mjw
True. But Matey McGstring and Old Man Beerbelly will not be looking forward to the morning door bell. They'll come early in the morning but they don't ring the bell though.
NewHope
There's a lot of people in this thread who are being blinded to the facts by their hatred / dislike / intolerance of a certain element of Rangers fans. Doesn't that kind of make you just as bad as those you are constantly trying to call out?
AMMjag
Kenny miller dosen't deserve that. He is 40 years old and has been running about for 90 mins FFS Disagree. He's happy enough to play that kind of game himself.
Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Pics or f**k off. Well, in that case, you're simply a fool. Possibly a blind fool. It's a game of football. You don't care if the football players themselves are attacked at the end of the game? Seriously? SamuraiJock
Cracking final. Hibs didn't crumble when they went 2-1 down and rangers didn't create anything after that. Deserved win in the end. Then followed one of the most predictable pitch invasions of all time. I didn't have a problem with it and still don't have a problem with any of the hibs fans that stayed in there own half. Seen plenty pitch invasions like that before so no problem. The dickheads looking for a scrap were met with similar dickheads from the Rangers end so poor show all round there. The hibs bellends that went after the rangers players should never be allowed to the football again
Deeboy
You're a right boring b*****d aren't you? The pitch isn't a place for supporters. If you goad folk, expect a bang in the pus. Is it last year all over again?

Doesn't that kind of make you just as bad as those you are constantly trying to call out? They're are plenty of valid reasons for why people have very little sympathy or tolerance for the "certain element" of Rangers fans. I'll make the point again; pitch invasions happen all the time. Very seldom do they resort to any sort of physical violence. Apart from today. The difference being the opposition fans complete inability to take the goading on the chin and go home like normal balanced adults. Had they not entered the pitch there would have been no violence.
lanky_ffc
That Rangers statement beggars belief. You'd think the Hibs fans had invaded the stand and attacked the innocent fans while they sat nicely in their seats 😄
NewHope
Polis just watching and giving himself a wet willy. Aye, that's with his left hand at the prospect of the 'mounties' getting an airing. Today was hog heaven for the filth too. A weird kind of triangular wankfest that a football match got in the way of.
bennett
. Had they not entered the pitch there would have been no violence. Players and staff had already been assaulted by then... -

If you can't stay in the designated areas of the ground that's allocated to you, you shouldn't be allowed to go to a match. These are rules and regulations set out - purely to stop an event like today happening. Once those were broken, it becomes a free for all. -
JamboMikey
The Hibs fans coming on to the pitch isn't a big deal but assaulting the players is woeful carry on. Can't see why the first thing you'd want to do after a historic cup win is start banjoing the other teams players. Bizarre.

Definitely sound like a man of the law. Hibs hadn't won the cup in 114 years and received endless goading about it. The vast majority spilled onto the pitch the celebrate with their players. How you can begrudge them that f**k knows.
AUFC90
To be fair, the Stranraer fans are diddies and shat themselves. 😂 Same happened when we relegated Airdrie. They didn't rise it to it either.
Menzel
Do the Rangers really have to release a statement applauding their supporters for not assaulting people? Crikey.
