young_bairn
The funniest thing about the Sevco/stranger danger/zombie fc paranoia and everybody hates us is that they are stuck here in a country they hate and a league they hate. Get it right fucking up ye.
dave.j
Fair play , a decent post Hope you enjoyed your day in a safe m sensible and merry manner and no rangers fan stamped on your head or tried to steal your children.
Dudu Dahan pal
You are talking absolute shite, the Hibs fans had absolutely no right to go on the pitch. And as for the ones behaving like total jakeballs, I hope they get dealt with. I'm at a total loss as to why someone would harass or swing a punch at someone, when we've just won the Scottish Cup. It was a blessing that more Rangers fans didn't head for the pitch as that would have been well messy. Sent from my iPhone using Pie & Bovril mobile app Yes we did. 114 years of utter misery had to come out somehow. The majority celebrated amongst ourselves. It was only a small minority that went over to the Rangers fans which was wrong but not completely Hibs fans fault because they didn't start the fighting.
forever_blue
I agree re the fighting but struggle with the "goading". Football fans goad each other week in week out, it comes with the territory, everyone one of us has given a GIRFUY to opposition fans at some point in their lives, I know I did plenty in my younger years. Doesn't mean you're there for a fight or want to engage in any violence. Running all the way across a pitch to so so is a bit more provocative than doing so from your seat mate Let's put it this way , rangers score a late winner at pittodrie next season and large group of rangers fans run infront of the Aberdeen fans "goading" . You telling me none of your support would react ?

well fan for life
I'd like to offer my congratulations to Hibernian. Not on winning the cup but For causing an even bigger meltdown than the play off final last year. Great effort, troops. Enjoy the celebrations.* *not in an over-zealous manner, though.
BinoBalls
* Anyone attacking Rangers players should be jailed. * Anyone shoving Rangers players should be banned from football. * The Hibs fans who went all the way up to the edge of the stand to goad Rangers fans are almost certainly bellends, but they aren't going to be punished for goading. * There were only a handful of Hibs fans goading until Rangers fans decided to belt out the The Billy Boys. This brought hundreds more Hibees over to join in the goading. * I reckon hardly any Rangers fans were aware of any assaults on their players at the time. Unless they all happened to be looking at all Rangers players at all times. * Even if they were aware, the Rangers fans came onto the pitch considerably AFTER the players had left the pitch. Which makes the Rangers statement they were protecting their players an utter lie. * So the only reason Rangers fans came on was because they couldn't handle a good old fashioned goading, and they wanted a fight. * Any fan of either team caught throwing a punch or kicking on the pitch deserves jail (unless I'm self defence) - that includes the guy in a suit who swung a kick at the Hibs fan as he ran past in the dugout area. * Keith Jackson, Chick Young and James Traynor: GIRFUY. * The reaction to the whole episode by P&B Rangers fans is level-headed and mostly responsible - but Jesus Christ the majority of their support really are utter cretins with the emotional maturity of a 10 year old.

shull
I was not making a point about his punishment or conviction , I was making a point to the actual incident . Many where disgusted or shocked with what took place yet similar happening to shiels is brushed off as just "taking a swing" You go into any workplace and decide to just take a swing at someone , chances are you will end up spending a night in the cells . It is not normal behaviour Supporting your vile Club isn't normal behaviour.
Glen Sannox
Yes we did. 114 years of utter misery had to come out somehow. The majority celebrated amongst ourselves. It was only a small minority that went over to the Rangers fans which was wrong but not completely Hibs fans fault because they didn't start the fighting. So it was the Rangers fans fault that someone swung a punch at Shiels (ex Hibs) and Wallace (Hibs fan). You're obviously still drunk. There are big days out when Hibs bring an element of total arseholes with them, Saturday being another example. It didn't spoil my weekend, but a bit of contrition would have been nice. beermonkey
Oh my. What an excellent read this has been. Cosgrove has annoyed them so much da bearz are planning to boycott McDiarmid. Keep up the good work Stuart! Aren't they boycotting she SPl teams anyway, or has that threat vanished now? And anyway, if they boycott McDiarmid, at least you know your weans will be safe.

shull
I get it, it takes guys like you who excuse and make light of such disgusting behavior for this to actually happen, you were probably one of the ones doing it, some way to celebrate winning a cup.Disgracing Britain since 1873.Blue Scum FC (DECEASED) The Blue Cnuts FC 2012
