fan of the juniors
The mckenzie penalty was a stinker! Can't believe the fans behind the goals just stood and clapped at the end. I would have been doing cartwheels! A would have jumped on the top of the goals , stripped off & then done the cartwheels if we had won in that manner ha ha

Larky55
Super semi final, in fact both games produced everything I love about the Junior game. Don't think Hurlford could play any better than they did in both games, they played fast flowing football, got plenty of possession in dangerous wide areas, but failed to score against a highly motivated, well disciplined, very skilful Pollok team. However in right back David McClune they had the finest player on view in both matches, he was tidy in defence, & he got himself forward repeatedly delivering numerous dangerous crosses into the box. Both Taz's were in fine form as well. 10mns into the 2nd half Pollok's Taz was shown a 2nd yellow card, for a high challenge on the classy Danny Mitchell. Pollok's David Winters, narrowly missed the target with a good effort soon after. Ross Robertson went closest for the visitors when he out jumped the home defence, to powered a header straight into Jordan Longmuir's arms from 10 yds. Straight to the shootout, where everybody's favourite other team,Pollok held their nerve better to face Beith in the cup final.
