David W
Doh. And to think it was me who asked whose sister was married to Jim Goodwin. He was one of few positives from that early couple of seasons in this league. Good footballer who struggled playing with absolute garbage.
clyde_darren
Dean Shiels would be a great signing, were are you hearing the rumours from? Edited June 13, 2016 by clyde_darren
Harry Haddock
Michael Oliver played over 30 games for the Colts last season. If he can keep fit he will be a superb signing as there is little doubt he was heading for big things prior to his injury.Presumably this signals the end of McQueens days with Clyde?
Bridgeton Clyde Boy
No chance Dean Sheils would sign for a League Two side, wouldn't be surprised if he goes to Kilmanark or something..
David W
One thing I do love about Clyde fans is that no-one can ever pass on a rumour without it being a trivia question. Makes things far more entertaining.
the_bully_wee
I quite liked Michael Oliver at Clyde - he was indeed signed as a striker, from an amateur team I believe, and went on to play in just about every outfield position. I didn't think he was particularly a stand out in any of them, but he was in two utterly guff teams and had his most consistent run in a defence comprising him and Iain Gray at CB with a 90 year old Lee Sharp and Gavin Brown on either side.
BroadwoodBoy
Would be pleased if Oliver signed with us again, good player & a good guy as well! Dean Shiels? Aye nae bother!

Replays
I would be happy enough with Michael Oliver signing. Never particularly a standout, but I remember him as putting in a solid enough shift wherever he played within some utterly rubbish teams. Hopefully, he will have kicked on a bit too since his last spell with us too. If nothing else, he would add some strength in depth to the squad.
cfcuk
fans owned team 😂 Nevermind paying your owners fee best idea is get your info straight from the board room 😉
bullywee
I'm hearing our next signing has a bed but never sleeps, has a mouth but cannot talk and can run but cannot walk. Sounds like Dean Shiels, right enough.
the_bully_wee
I'm not sure about anyone else, but I quite like the idea of signing a river. Playing it in midfield would allow us to literally drown the opposition midfielders while facilitating our patented hoofball.
Only one David Marsh
Don't see shiels dropping down to league 2 oliver might be decent he did indeed sign for us as a striker from Campsie black watch and ended up in every position looks like he's been playing Cb for cumbernauld colts throughout last season.
cfcuk
Centre half from cumbernauld colts wow next
cfcuk
No chance sheils will be in lowest tier next year plus he didn't exactly rip it up with rangers in lower leagues Next
