tree house tam
It's sad that on a day we have signed an Israeli international football player we are talking about a has been manager* with the social skills of a skirting board. *Term used loosely. Very very loosely.

The Saintee
It speaks volumes that Davidson didn't get a job down south on the back of the double season. Guys up here have achieved far less and strolled into "decent" jobs in England.

Going back to @Ludo*1’s earlier question, I think Davidson would be currently be held in much higher regard by Saints fans if he had rode off into the sunset/down south straight after the cup double.

Even after getting sacked, you'd have thought someone down south would have looked at the Double win snd his career as an assistant down there and taken a punt. On a side note, last time we had a former Scotland defender as manager in his first season at the club, we signed an Israeli out of contract player too and that didn't end just too badly. So, rest easy lads, Scottish cup win is innevitable.

Looks like his strongest position is in the middle of the park going by his reel though. Sprangler's squad position looks to be ever more shoogly which is a shame.
glenrothes 1884 saint
Just wonder if we’ve a hint of a bid for Phillips or Smith?
RandomGuy.
Hes worse than that reel makes him look, IMO. Similar in style to Phillips/Smith off the ball, interestingly. A proper terrier in there but less brave on the ball, seems to tend to go backwards/sideways a lot when in midfield. Seems better on the ball at RCB or RB when he can see whats happening in front of him rather than around him. Not 100% sure where he slots in best, potentially RWB where he would be kind of Rooney-esque in terms of being pretty direct with running at folk but not having a huge amount of skill to actually beat folk with. Then he could be back up to McGowan and the two CMs as he'd be a more direct replacement than Sprangler and also better than Olufunwa. A decent signing I think, depending on whats expected of him.

Kyle
Liam Parker has been recalled from his loan at Civil Service strollers, who have suggested in their good luck message that he's going to a league one club. Have to suspect it'll be Edinburgh City given their travails.
SJFCtheTeamForMe
Robinson clearly not fancied (if that rumour is true) Joyce works for the Times.

Or is non league an expectation.

Jackson Mylchreest has played for Saints, Tranent and Berwick this season so I’d guess the rule doesn’t apply when it’s non-league.
RandomGuy.
Yeah League Two is the last division where it counts, for whatever reason.
RandomGuy.
Callum Booth saying he picked up another knock in pre-season and started to consider going part time and more local to his house. Says Spartans ticked both boxes which is why he ended up there. Sounds like hes already decided he wouldn't renew his contract with us even if offered.

I did question why we were so keen to offer an extension at the time and the decision looks even dafter now.
