craigkillie
Rangers are not going to compromise their chances of winning the league and progressing in the Europa League for the sake of a mediocre player like Arfield. If it was Kent or Barisic I'd buy it a little bit more.

Aye, I'd be massively surprised if Rangers were willing to cover this up given the likelihood it would eventually come out and the possible sanctions the club would then face for it. No danger.

Drew Brees
Me too. Where did you read the details of their hearing? Never said I did. I read the SPFL statement from when they imposed the fines.

bennett
Rangers duo Jordan Jones and George Edmundson are facing suspensions after they were charged by the Scottish Football Association over their alleged illegal weekend party. The pair were handed fixed penalties by police on Sunday night after they were accused of breaching Covid-19 rules by attending an indoor get-together. Now they are also in trouble with Hampden disciplinary chief Clare Whyte, who has issued notices of complaints to both players And they could now face lengthy bans after they were accused of breaching SFA rules 24 and 77, which cover requirements to comply with SFA rules and the failure to act in the best interests of the game. A hearing has been set for November 19, and Gerrard hopes he will not have to address Covid-19 responsibilities with the rest of his squad again after issuing a final warning before jetting out to face Benfica.

I'd file it under 'nonsense'. Arfield left before the police got there so smart move.

G51
Lets have a wee shout out for Morelos here. To beat an Ally McCoist goalscoring record is an incredible achievement. Best striker I've seen at Rangers.

Great effort from Alfie in a few years though.

Shame we couldn't see the game out as we'd be having a different conversation.

He can ping forty or fifty yard passes no bother at all, yet it's never really talked about.
AJF
Agreed. Excellent performance from him tonight and I hope it’s a bit of a catalyst for him to produce it more often this season. Normally I’d have been all for replacing him against Hamilton but I’d start him now and see if he can carry on from tonight.
DMCs
Strongly agree that it's very promising that Morelos was excellent tonight - we absolutely missed him being in form in early 2020 and although we've not really suffered for it so far, I'd say the only thing missing this season has been a striker in good form.

If he is, then I think I'd rest him anyway. I'd sooner have him for Aberdeen than Hamilton.
