Twinkle
I think thats a disgraceful decision personally. Things like that really piss me off
Ira Gaines
It's a daft rule and even dafter to actually get yourself sent off for it.
Twinkle
Getting booked for celebrating a goal should be scrapped. Its a nonsense rule
7-2
It's daft rules like this that help create the 'H&S gone mad' cliche.

7-2
First half was a bit bland but decent second half anyway.
Ro Sham Bo
It's a daft rule and even dafter to actually get yourself sent off for it. Agreed. Considering he was booked less than 2 minutes earlier it was sheer stupidity on his part.
Bully Wee Villa
Should've won at a canter. We don't do winning.
RawB93
Agreed. Considering he was booked less than 2 minutes earlier it was sheer stupidity on his part. Was it? The guy just went on a mazy run before setting up a goal to get his team in front. The f**k else is he gonna do? Players are people first and professionals thereafter. Let them display their emotions.

He's lucky they held on for a draw.
Ira Gaines
Shitloads of players have managed to avoid doing it after being booked. It's clearly something on the mind. Unless you're an idiot.
TrueDiamond
I'm sure at some point as he ran towards the crowd it must have crossed his mind he'd end up being sent off. He's lucky they held on for a draw. If it had been in front of the Villa supporters I could understand the desire to prevent that sort of inflammatory situation, but it was in front of his own supporters and some leeway should be given. I mean it wasn't as if he did an Adabayor!!! Football is (sometimes!) an emotional sport and sometimes people do things that are irrational to those with a detached view or even those of us with hindsight. jmothecat
Watching that back I'm very surprised he gave a second booking for it. By the letter of the law it's a yellow but that's a common sense situation.
