We won the abysmal set piece competition. Sponsors man of the match was Pawlett

Sponsors must have been blind as O'Connor was outstanding for us. Dreadful game which near side created much, we cope with Hearts physical side but dreadful going forward - maybe the 4 games in 9 days hasn't helped. No surprises the Hearts fans unhappy with their manager as I wouldn't want to watch that dreadful hoofball.

Nearly 3,000 more at Easter Road today than this battle between two Premiership title challengers [emoji85]

We could crowdwank but we're too busy playing the big team in Edinburgh in the big league. Enjoy the pond life.

Brutal game. Neilson got what he set up for, the 0-0. Phoodle tactical genius.

Pleased at the back but we never ever looked like scoring. Had a lot of the ball and control of the game but no end product.

Back fours superb but both Aberdeen and Hearts found their one creative sparks, Niall McGinn and Sam Nicholson, in totally anonymous form.

Both contributed very little, spent most of the game hiding on the periphery and showed the respective teams reliance on Hayes and Walker to create.

That about sums the game up.

Ryan Jack was absolutely fan fucking tastic today.

O'Connor and Logan twice each got Taylor out of jail after all too familiar mistakes. Going forward we need a settled back 4 of Logan , O.Connor, Reynolds Considine, with Jack and Shinnie in front of them.

Can perm any 4  from Rooney, McGinn, Hayes, Stockley, Storey, Burns, Pawlett, McLean depending who we are playing.

Frustrated as hell today, however, I think we are in for a decent season again.
