Oliver Burke

Should be a good game. Schalke lost their first 5, but are unbeaten since then. RB obviously still unbeaten in the league (themselves, Hoffenheim and Real are the only sides in Europe's top 5 that haven't lost a game yet).

Leipzig seem to follow the same structure every week. Whilst it would be good for Burke to start more regularly, you can totally understand why they're persisting with what is clearly working - which is a rigid starting 11 and Burke usually being the first attacking sub they make.

I'd assume he'll be straight in there if there are any injuries, and even if there aren't, getting 20 minute appearances towards the end of the game for the team that's top of the Bundesliga is hardly something to be sniffed at.

Hopefully Red Bull keep this up, then drop off near the end of the season, as you'll then find that Bayern and Dortmund start sniffing around those with impressive stats. Burkes got 1 goal and 2 assists in 212 minutes, so he's involved in a goal every 70 minutes. Thats impressive enough for him to be considered, if he can keep it up.

Just watching the Ingolstadt highlights. RB should have scored 2 or 3 in the second half but it wasn't to be. Interesting that Burke came on earlier than usual because they were losing. He looked very good to - easily as good as the rest of the players around him. I wonder if this defeat might be the opening that gets him starting games?

Got 10 mins tonight as RB got absolutely rinsed by Bayern. No chance of changing the game which was already 3-0, yet he was away and all set for a one on one but for the failure of one of his teammates to slip him through. Hopefully RB's dip in form will let him in for a start soon.

Was shouting at the boy to release him. What a clown, was such an easy pass too

He's your "different gravy" though eh?

Maybe next game he gets 11 minutes....

Tbf we don't have many other £13m teenagers playing for a challenger in a top foreign league just about every week.

That said he hasn't had a 'moment' yet (scintillating move and a goal) which has allowed me to post my carefully paintshopped bisto packet with his face on it. The b*****d.
