Cerberus
May is a disaster. She is making it up as she goes along. It speaks volumes for the state of the UK when she is the best leader we have.
RedRob72
Re: May's current visit, often wondered why India is so keen to export more and more of its young talent to the UK? It would be interesting to see how many newly qualified students return to India in order that it benefits from the Knowledge, Skills, Research, Innovation and entrepreneurialism they have developed in their time here?

Her performances at pmqs are the worst I've ever seen, opposition or government.

Agreed, she gets away with it because Labour are a soft touch. Can you remember how brutal Cameron was to Brown during his tenure as PM? He didn't give him a f***ing inch!
NotThePars
May treats PMQs as an opportunity to try out her stand up which tbf is about as much respect as PMQs deserves. It's been a pointless pantomime for years.

Or for that matter Brown's humiliation of successive Tory chancellors

dorlomin
Two years to negotiate the most complex trade deal in our history, at the end of which we will have virtually no working trade deals with any country outside of the EU. A deal that will require the other EU countries to support it including those who really fancy a big slice of the UKs fintech industries. A PM allowing herself to be bullied by the right wing tabloids, when she has the polling numbers to tell them to f*ck off. The plan seems to be to drag the court case as long as possible then drag the vote through parliament as long as possible, using the time to pull together a kind of scratch negotiating team and position probably with a lot of hints and help under the table from some in Europe and try to blame the courts\parliament for being slow to keep the rabid dogs of her back for a few months. This is not a farce. Its a clusterfarce.

So the Indian Government haven't being pressing the PM today to increase the number of Visas issued to Indian Nationals as an incentive for improved access to potential trade deals.Do we watch completely different news programmes???
